At the Landal Julianadorp park is a tropical swimmingpool. In Den Helder you'll find the pool „De Schots”with outdoor baths
In the summer months on Friday, there are kofferbakmarkten (car trunk markets) at the „Donkere Duinen"
Tuesday there's „Juttersmarkt”in the centre of Den Helder and at the evening rummage sale by the Loopytpark in Julianadorp
Thursdays „Westfriese Folklore”market in Schagen
Friday's Cheese market in Alkmaar
In July, there are navy days in Den Helder. Once a year the navy terrain will be opened for the public and you'll be able to view different kinds of submarines and ships. Marines will be giving demonstrations. At the same time there's fairground in the city
